Hello all,
For me it's to hard to explain it in German, so I'll explain it in English...
I used this site for information (I'm sorry it's a dutch site so maybe it's hard for the ones of Germany to translate it)
http://www.vlindernet.nl/content.php?id=360
On this site they really good explain how to see the differents between these two species. One of the things they say about how to determinate these species is that the topwings of Mesapamea secalella have a copper-red gloss. As far I can see on this picture is that this butterfly has got the copper-red gloss on his wings. (by the way that's not the only thing what they say about 'how to determinate' this species
Ich möchte noch viel dazulernen, solange ich noch Zeit habe dazu
Of course you can Heinz, you're one of those who are most aware of butterflys on this whole site
I hope I've answer your question.
Greetings Wessel Herrewijnen
