Hi,
cannot see picture No.5
But I'm sure No.3 and 4 are not from Africa.Should be Polyura eudamippus,SE Asia. There are different subspecies.
Best regards
Hans

To me no 1 & 2 seem to be Alcis bastelbergeri (Hirschke, 1908).

Polyura eudamippus

Hi Hans,

I think you're right about the butterfly on picture 3 & 4, but on the needle which trough the body of the butterfly is, was a little card. On that card was writed: Africa 1985, so as you could understand I thought that it was form Africa.

by the way, do you know if it's a male or female?

Thanks for your comment

And luke,

Do you know if they are a female and a male or a male and a male or a female and a female etc.? :D

Hi,
Wessel,
the shape of the body is male. The body of female is thicker and more round at the tip.
I compared it with the Polyura/Charaxes in my collection.So I'm almost 100 % sure.
Just inspect the outer sex organs with a glass. In the males it's more like a slit,in the females more like the end of a tube.
Best regards
Hans

PS:regarding the antennae in picture 1 and 2 both are males then.
