    wenn Puppen überliegen, liegt das meines Erachtens daran, dass die "Rahmenbedingungen" für einen Schlupf im laufenden Jahr nicht passen. Meistens ist das wohl zu große Trockenheit im Gefäß, in dem sich die Puppen befinden. Deshalb…

    Warum uberliegen dann die quercus aus Sizilien. Voriges Jahr sind nur 3 Falter geschlüpft. :grimacing_face:

    Selbst im Umfeld der Ostseeküste gibt es bei quercus keine Puppenüberwinterung.

    Da ist der Harz bereits tiefster Süden 😉.

    Harz ist "normal" - einfach bei Zimertemperatur liegen lassen - schlüpfen in 2-4 Wochen wahrscheinlich

    Schon mal vielen Dank für die Antworten.

    Ich hatte ganz vergessen, dazu zu schreiben, dass die beiden hier aus Norddeutschland, genauer aus dem Harz, stammen.
    Ist der Fundort schon südlich genug?
    Falls zweifelhaft, könnte ich ja mal mein Glück versuchen…

    es kommt auf den Fundort an. Südliche Arten überwintern größtenteils als Raupe.

    Alpine und nordische brauchen meist 1 Jahr länger und überliegen oft als Puppe.

    Das heißt: südliche Arten - die Puppe warm stellen .......

    Normalerweise überwintern die Raupen, es sei dem die Puppen uberliegen. Einfach liegen lassen. Bei Zimmertemperatur. LG Sven

    Wasserwechsel gar nicht, nur bei Bedarf nachfüllen... Ist auch eine Frage der Größe um Schimmel zu vermeiden. Ansonsten ist auch nach 3 Wochen der größte Teil der Blätter noch grün. Da die Raupen das Zeug aber häufig schneller aufgefressen haben…
