Band 26 (Doppelheft 1+2) ist erschienen

Im 1. Supplement zur galathea fasste Udo Luy 1994 die ersten 10 Jahrgänge zusammen. Nun nach Abschluss des 25. Jahrganges 2009 bot sich eine erweiterte Neuauflage solch einer Zusammenfassung an.
Besonderer Wert wurde dabei auf drei Register gelegt, die den Zugang zu den erschienenen Artikeln und eine Schnellorientierung über alles Publizierte erleichtern sollen. Das erste Register enthält eine Verteilung der Artikel auf 6 verschiedene Rubriken:
- Allgemeines
– Lokalfaunistik
– Europa ohne Deutschland
– Außereuropa
– Zucht
– Entomologische Untersuchungen, Schlüssel, Neubeschreibungen.
Im zweiten Register sind alphabetisch alle abgebildeten Insektenarten verzeichnet.
Im dritten Register stehen die in den Titeln angegebenen Insektenarten, unterteilt nach dem System Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera usw. beziehungsweise bei Mischung (z.B. in Geländelisten) nach der überwiegenden Gruppe und dem Stichwort Fauna.
Um dieses Gesamtregister in den Lauf der Zeitschrift zu integrieren, wurde es aufgrund seines Umfangs als Doppelheft des neuen Jahrgangs 2010 herausgegeben.

In 1994 Mr. Udo Luy published as "supplement 1" a general overview of the first 10 years of the entomological magazine galathea. Now in 2010 there was the chance to repeat the same procedure for the first 25 volumes. A special focus was the compilation of three registers to enable a fast orientation for the reader or user of this magazine.
First the articles were sorted among 6 different headlines
- in general
– locally faunistic
- Europe without Germany
– world without Europe
– experiences in raising
– entomological researches, keys, new descriptions.
Second an alphabetical list was compiled with all insect species published in pictures.
Third the insect species mentioned in the head lines of the articles were sorted to the taxonomical groups like Coleotera, Lepidoptera, Diptera a.s.o. or in the case of faunistic investigations under the name 'fauna' and the main group.
In order to integrate this review close to the magazine it was published within the new volume 26 for the year 2010 as double issue due to the number of pages.
