I have 12 Attacus atlas cocoons from Thailand. I’m keeping them as you can see on the photo. Temperature varies between 25C during the day and 20C during the night. Humidity level is around 40% but I’m spraying them 2x a day with water. So my questions:

Are these good conditions to keep them?

Can they go into diapause If theyre wings are already black?

Thank you. Yesterday they mated, male was around 28 hours old. If the pairing was succesfull when she will start laying eggs? And if not can she be mated again with older male?

Thanks to all of you. I was keeping humidity at 70-80%. Now I know it was high...

I don't have them now they were smelling really badly so I moved them to trash. It was really bad smell

They feel a little bit lighter. And they didn't moved from while when I received them

Hello! I want to know your breeding tips for Bunaea Alcinoe! I have currently 8 pupas. What will be signs that they will hatch? (4 pupas are under the light still in development ((they doesn't have developed wings so far)). And the other 4 pupas are under the light fully developed I would say. ((I can't see light from one side to another)) so I guess they are almost at the end of development.) What will be signs to hatch for this specie? Thank you!
