    I have the same problem than you !
    you can open the eggs and watch what there is inside. If there is a yellow liquid, eggs are not fertilized. There must be a small filament is it the first stage of development of the caterpillar. For now, i didn't see the filament but the eggs need 3 weeks to hatch so i'll try again...


    This is what I did for the emperor gum because mating is stealthy and do not last long.
