Senegal moths

Hello Thomas,
unfortunately you will not find too much insect-life there, because your holiday is in the dry-season. Most moths are active in the rainy-season from juli-oktober. What you can do: look for cocoons of Epiphore bauhiniae on Zizyphus-bushes. If the species is present in your place (where is it?) you can hardly oversee them, because usually they occur in numbers. Though many of them will be empty from hatching, with a little luck you will find some living ones. If you want to breed this species foodplant might be a problem.
