hello everyone, I have just been contacted by someone offering dried and live specimens from the soloman islands. The butterflies he is offering are from the right area. But he is offering two Ornithoptera species, victoria and priamus, which I would love to get but it seems like a red flag as most people dont have access to those. Another red flag is that he contacted me first through email which is unusual. Do you think I should go through with this and order Ornithoptera priamus or should I just leave it alone.
Scam or real offer

I have also been contacted by email by a person named David Nahlyve. He offered me live pupae but he did not sent any pictures and he doesn't say the price!
Best wishes, Marco

Since I would be extremely cautious in several ways:
1) Without a proof photo of the pupae with the front cover of a current local daily newspaper I would doubt the presence of the pupae.
2) Does the provider also offer the necessary CITES documents for export?
3) do not forget: for import into your own country also requires appropriate CITES papers that must be previously applied for by the buyer / importer at the local authorities.

Universal butterflies, that is the name of the guy who is offering them to me.
