Hello to you!
I have some questions for you now that some superb Attacus lorquinii have emerged!
The cocoons arrived at my place on the 25th, the first female was born on the evening of the 25th! unexpected.......!
The first male is from 28, the second of today!
I am more lucky than Attacus atlas even if the adults are not all perfect ... but at least emergences are synchronized!
With A. atlas several weeks between each emerging ....
I love the dark color of these moths!
My atlas were almost red/brown ... I did not expect to receive such beautiful moths!
Unlike Samia luzonica I am extremely happy!
Do you have any tips for successful mating ?
I currently have 2 males and a female, a second female will soon arrive
I raised the temperature and hygrometry ... I also turned on a fan...
But nothing for the moment...
The female seems to be very eager to get closer to the males!
They were bothering me in a cage so I decided to leave them free in a room...
Any solutions ?
Handpairing?
