I live in their native range. Mine are currently overwintering outside. I have had them hatch later in the year but they should’ve hatched by now if they were going to.

Luna moth. What about eggs. How long does it take for those to be shipped out.

I was planning on getting some livestock from Stuartsbutterflies but I’ve heard some bad things about him. I wanted to know if it would be in my best interest to purchase

It may survive. Did it have any problems with them. Other than the ones that died. If not they should be fine

Yo dude it’s me Aiden. For the record I’ve never seen a caterpillar molt within a day. So just leave it be. The absolute worst thing you can do right now is touch it. If it’s still stuck to a leaf wait for it to molt. If you touch it, it could fall and if that happens it will 100% fail to molt

Sozius I’m receiving carnegia mirabilis cocoons and I’d like to breed them heard that they ate annonaceae plants so I’ve been looking for some thought this was one

I’ve been looking for plants in the Annonaceae family to feed to caterpillars and I’d like to know if this is apart of it

You should be fine I mean if the moths do hatch let’s give a week before they start it would be April two more weeks before the eggs hatch and there should be leaves.
but if you had a problem you could try artificially overwintering them for longer than they would outside -
Cool thanks will keep in mind

Sounds good thanks

I have some actias Selene larva. I am feeding them sweet gum but it’s getting to be autumn and I will probably need to switch to eucalyptus the evergreen option but I don’t know what it looks like I have a plant I suspect to be it but I’ll need you to tell me that
I have attached a photo of it
