I have been collecting for 45 years and have an extensive collection with many rarities and abberations. If I sold it I would never have to work again. Notwithstanding that I still enjoy being out in the field collecting more than anything else.

When I was younger and even now I collected my own specimens and bred them as well. That way I could put accurate data labels on each one and have perfect specimens. I learned how to pin and mount them properly. Being young and not having much money doesn't mean your collection has to be poor quality but the younger generation sometimes think that the Internet is the only way to get specimens.
