    Hier seht ihr das Ergebnis des gestrigen Abends. Die beiden Tage davor waren sehr verregnet und daher gab es da keine Sichtungen. All diese Männchen flogen (40 Minuten nach Start war dann abrupt Ende) um einen einzelnen Baum (Hainbuche) herum, der direkt neben einem Nest steht. Bei dem Nest handelt es sich um einen alten Feldahornstumpf, welcher seit mindestens 10 Jahren, vermutlich noch deutlich länger, besiedelt ist. Vermutlich saß ein oder mehrere Weibchen im Baum und haben Pheromone ausgesendet. Die Größen reichen von 33 mm bis 73 mm. Endlich auch mal ein schöner großer hier bei mir wobei da immer noch Luft nach oben ist :grinning_squinting_face: Mein größtes je hier gefundenes Exemplar war ein Männchen mit 83 mm im Juni 2010, der war wohl fast wie ein 6er im Lotto.
    Alle Tiere wurden nach Aufnahme der Daten und Fotos markiert und wieder freigelassen.

    Ein großes Weibchen von Platerodrilus paradoxus, welches ich am Mt. Kinabalu gefunden habe. Die Art war dort ziemlich häufig, jedoch war dieses Exemplar mit 65 mm+ das eindeutig größte.
