The photos are not great but I will do my best here.

    1. The first one on the low left is a Clouded-bordered Brindle Apamea crenate

    2. Scalloped Hazel Odontopera bidentata

    3. Could be The Engrailled Ectropis bistortata flight time is about right other similar species fly a bit later. Its badly worn so can say for sure and picture is not that clear.

    4. I think this is the Treble Lines Charanyca trigrammica

    5. I think Sweet Gale moth Acronicta cinerea

This insect recently emerged from a pupae of B. asluga. It is over 3cm long not including the antenna which are 1.5cm long. I have not been able to ID the insect down to species level but would be grateful if someone had experience of this species before. I believe the larvae were raised in the UK; I have not been told otherwise. Quite a challenging insect to photograph as it was extremely active all of the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,
