What are your artifical nectar recipes? Which concentration of sucrose? What about fructose? glucose? What are you feedbacks concerning nutritional values and the behaviour of microbial developments in it?
I heard Nitrogen was an important macro-element for the ovogenesis. What's the best way to provide it to the butterflies?

I use hummingbird food for my butterflies.
The food is available in 1 kg containers and has all necessary proteins, sugars like fructose, minerals and other elements. The food is given as a 10% solution in water with a small addition of honey.
The mixture is given in caps of waterbottles. Red is preferred.
I use this food for several years and I am very satisfied with the results, I breed Heliconius butterflies the whole year round.
