A.selene question

Hello everybody!
I would like ask:
I have some A.selene moth, and , the mating was sucesful in 22nd April.
I put it in the medium cage, in the dark place, the cage is standing,Last night the female selene started flying at 10 o'clock at night and started put down the eggs, but she put down only 17 eggs in the morning, it is normal?
I'm doing something wrong?
