I have read this on Silkmoths and more: August 2014 and wonder if this is true cuz i have Salix Caprea right in the neighbourhood. and a side question. how do you get healthy plants without pesticides from example liquid ambar? all the trees i've seen so far are unreachable.
Normally they feed upon plants out the Vitaceae plant family, like Vitis (grape) and Parthenocissus (Virginia creeper). Probably the reason why they are not so often kept in captivity. These plants are not commonly available in Europe. However, what is less known is that many Loepa species can be bred on Salix (willow) without any problem.
