    Hi everyone,

I’m currently researching Graellsia isabellae and I’m looking to better understand the visual and morphological differences between the various described subspecies. If anyone has clear photos (mounted) of any of the following, I’d be extremely grateful:

    • Graellsia isabellae isabellae
    • Graellsia isabellae ceballosi
    • Graellsia isabellae paradisea
    • Graellsia isabellae roncalensis
    • Graellsia isabellae galliaegloria

I’m also very interested in gathering information about the Graellsia isabellae population introduced in Switzerland around 1987–1988. If anyone here has knowledge about:

    • What subspecies or locality stock was used for that introduction?
    • Who was involved in the introduction?
    • Whether this population has ever been monitored or discussed in scientific publications?

I’m working on a personal research project related to that population and would truly appreciate any insights, even informal notes or old forum references. You can reply here, DM me, or contact me directly via email at noahgrin@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance — looking forward to learning from you all!

    Best regards,
    Noah

    hi!

I was wondering if its possible to get eggs of Graellsia isabellae during winter and if so where. I know that you can rase actia dub. during the winter since the host plant is pine. Otherwise what kind of moth would you recommend to rase during winter? I'm ATM in Switzerland so not a lot of available food plant during those months...

    best
