Dear breeders, first of all , happy new year but I've got some problems with my 1st instar larva of the actias luna.
There eating frozen walnut leaves, but this does'nt go as i thought it would.
Does anyone knows a better feeding plant in winter for actias luna?

Try it with Rhododendron, I got my A. selene through winter with this plant.

Well its to late.
The lava crimped in and died. 
So, no frozen wallnut anymore.
I feel very sorry for you!

Well, i made the mistake and the larva died.
I feel more sorry for the little caterpillars
