Samia cynthia oder Samia ricini?

Hello Toni,

The white cocoons must be of Samia ricini, all other Samia spin brown cocoons or turn brown within a couple of days.
The caterpillars look like ricini too.

The normal cynthia has more blue "spikes" and also has yellow foots.
The brown coloring cocoon must color if you spay them.
