Problem with Archon apollinus pupation

Hi everyone,

Some of my A. apollinus caterpillars have stopped feeding some days ago and since they've
been crawling around continuously. I gave them a 2cm layer of soil + pieces of cardboard but
they just won't start pupating. Any help appreciated!
