I have now L1 catterpillrs of Aglia tau. In the past I have problems. Some larvae had black spots and than they died. What was the problem ?

It might have been a fungus, so make sure the caterpillars have enough ventilation!

this problem was E.versicolora with caterpillars for me.
this an infectious disease, it is necessary to do the ill caterpillars separately!
