This is a photo of the Automeris io which recently was emerged.
For the first time I observe a case of gynandromorph in real time.
Tell me, please, what frequency there are such anomalies?

Hello Roman,
the symmetry is really astonishing, it rather looks like a photo manipulation. I have analysed the photo with some photo editing software and my coclusion so far is: the photo is real.
Such aberrations with highly defined symmetrical segregations of the sexes are quite rare.
