Hello

Where did you find it?

Rudi

Chelonia

Here in Portugal entire forest was replaced by eucalyptus trees, several species, and how there are many moths that eat E.gunni, so I wonder whether it was

I forgot to say that are new leaves, not took pictures adult leaves

Jurgen Vanhoudt

It doesn't look like E. gunni.
I think it is E. neglecta (or a closely related species). E. neglecta is cold hardy to -18°C and very fast growing. Even in Belgium it can grow outdoors and they will survive extreme winters (like 2013).

Chelonia

hello, I had to search and E. neglecta is not, for two reasons, eucalyptus photo I took not just flowers, is more trusses, and then put the leaves are young leaves, they become very stiff and very long when staying adult
later insert pictures with mature leaves of the tree
here in Portugal, it is a rare place where the temperature is below -10º hehehe
sorry for my english
thanks

Other Eucalyptus species should also be fine for many insects eating E. gunni. I think the reason why gunni is often mentioned is that it is the most common species in Europe in cultivation. So it is often tested.

Chelonia

Thanks, have logic, anyway I not have many animals to be able to test, lol
