Gonepteryx rhamni

Lepiflow

Hi there,

I have caught a female Genopteryx rhamni.
Has anyone got experience with the ovipositing of these butterflies?

Thanks in advance

Rudi

Hi Rob.

It´s no problem to get them laying eggs.
You need the same size of cage like for Papilios and you have to put the foodplant inside. Thats all.
Feeding is also neccessary.

That will be work, if the female was mating before.
