closed box or open box for breeding?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to know how your reared caterpillars. I keep them in closed containers to increase the life of the plant, but sometimes I have problems with condensation. :blink:

It's not that simple. Some need to be kept in open boxes, some in closed, some only in netted cages, some only on living plants, some can only be bred outdoors. It depends on the origin of the species. Breeding conditions need to be as close as possible to natural conditions.

My first problem is the humidity in a closed boxes.. unfortunately I had many deaths for the moisture , so now use open boxes and cages..
