- Hi everyone. I just now (22 Dec.) received a large number of Bunaea alcinoe chrysalides from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. This is my first experience with this species. For those of you who have good experience in rearing and breeding this species what have you found is the best way to store these chrysalides?
Will they go into diapause if I keep them cool, ca.10 degrees C, so that I can have them eclose later this Spring or Summer when host plants will be available? Or, if this is not possible with this species what should I do now to get eclosion in the next month or so? Thank you for your assistance. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!! Wayne
