Hello Chris,
Currently, I´m also looking for artificial food for painted ladies (Cynthia cardui) caterpillars.
At the moment I feed a mixture of sugar and water (1:4) to the butterflies.
To the caterpillars I´m planning to give fresh stinging-nettle.
However, I could not find a shop in Europe! Which is similar to the artifical food which this guys use in there kit: shop.schmetterlingsgarten4u.de
Furthermore, I found a recipe but I´m not sure from where to order the incrediants in Europe:

How do you currently feed your laydies? Catapillars?
Best regards
Patrick
Hello Chris,
Did you receive some new information about the artificial food industry in europe?
At the moment I have approximate 200 eggs.
Best regards
Patrick
Hello,
why don´t you ask Serge? He has used artificial diet for several species, I don´t know if it is suitable for yours. And he is selling it, as far as I know. You easily find his contact in the Börse.
Thomas
I bought a huge amount of Southland artificial diet from the USA. The Diet is perfect for Painted Lady.
You can find the offer under the following link or send me a PM.

Ich habe eine größere Menge Kunstfutter (KUFU) aus den USA gekauft. Das Kunstfutter eignet sich perfekt für die Distelfalter-Raupe.
Bei Interesse bitte eine PM an mich.
