Whats your favourite breed of butterfly and moth?
My favourite butterfly is Vanessa Atalanta - the red admiral it reminds me of going on wildlife walks as a child. One of the UK's nicest butterflies.

My favourite moth is Arctia caja - the garden tiger moth which was the first moth I found as a child. I was fascinated by its colours and patterns and the fact an airplane had been named after it!. I kept it for a couple of days to study it before setting it free in my garden again. It layed eggs which turned into the hairiest caterpillars known as woolly bears.
