That's unlikely.
The moths we usually capture, are males, and females that have already mated. Perhaps if you catch a female sphinx moth
feeding, or something like catacala at a trap, you might attract a male by keeping the female in a screen cage.
Someone probably knows more about sphinx and catacala than I do.
But as far as saturniidae, it's not going to happen, unless you capture a freshly emerged female, and they don't fly until they mate.
