Attacus lorquiini stuck molt- help NEEDED

    Hello Actias,

    One of my five L2 lorquiini's atlas moth caterpillar started to molt this morning, and hasn't finished yet. I tried to remove the head capsule, but it was stuck, and I couldn't remove it. Also, it did not molt any part of the rest of its body.

    What can I do?

    Should I spray it, and hope for the best?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Yo dude it’s me Aiden. For the record I’ve never seen a caterpillar molt within a day. So just leave it be. The absolute worst thing you can do right now is touch it. If it’s still stuck to a leaf wait for it to molt. If you touch it, it could fall and if that happens it will 100% fail to molt
