Hyles nicaea Zucht

hallo Zusammen,

bin erst neu hier. Hätte aber eine Frage an einen erfahrenen Züchter. Ich fand vor rd. 3 Wochen 2 Raupen von Hyles nicaea in Südfrankreich, deren Zucht bisher erfolgreich verlaufen ist. Nun meine Frage: Kann mir jemand sagen wie lange die Puppenruhe etwa dauert. da ich ggf. in 10 Tagen für 14 Tage verreisen möchte...hätt ich bedenken, daß die Falter u.U. schon schlüpfen könnten. Hat da jemand Erfahrungen ??

I took 3 weeks 2 larvae of Hyles Nicaea in southern France, the breed has been successful so far. Now my question: Can anyone tell me how long does the pupa about. I would like to possibly travel in 10 days for 14 days ... I would consider that the moths may already could slip. Because someone has experience?

ja danke einstweilen. Sie haben sich offensichtlich ordentlich verpuppt und ich werde sie ab jetzt nur mäßig warm halten (rd. 20 °C)....obwohl es zuletzt sehr warm war, zeigen sie keine Anzeichen eines zeitnahen Schlupfes (keine Verfärbungen erkennbar im Augenbereich ).

when did your larves went to pupae...i found the larves in the midth of July and they become pupae ca. 14 days later....

I think temperatures arund 10 degrees will kept them away from coming out...is keeping them in refrigerator not too extrem for them..?

the two hyles nicaea left rheir pupae in the last days....although i left them in the nearly cold cellar (17, 18 degrees) für 12 days..they develpoped and where becoming two really nice ones. Thank you all for your efforts....
