Hey guys, is galium aparine a good foodplant for the humming-bird hawk-moth? I Know all Galium ssp. are, but i just have plenty of it near my home and planning on raising the macroglossum stellatarum.
Galium aparine, for those who dont know, is a plant similar to galium verum (the hummibgbird hawkmoth's "best" foodplant ) in appearance, but it has small hook like spikes on all of its leaves and stems, which makes them feel "sticky" when touched.
regards in advance,
