hello!
Can somebody help me?
I have g. isabellae fresh caterpillars, they are hatched yesterday, but caterpillars are walking out of foodplant (pinus sylvestris) and they are walking around in the plastic box...
What would be the problem?
Thanks...
Gery

Put them into darkness and wait one day.
You maybe able to spray them with water veeery easily also.
But really not to much. -
Hi Gary,
I have them on a potted pine sapling in the house and spray them a couple of times a day, not too wet though. Put a netted bag around them so they don't wander off and keep an eye on them. A lot of people say put them in the dark and I'm sure this is a good tip, i have found I have never needed to do this. If they are wandering around I would certainly do this.
Cheers John.
