Hello!
I have this problem with Acherontia larvae; they hatch in a petri dish, so i put them in another petri dish with 2 leaf of tree privet (Ligustrum lucidum) and they act like this, then they die.
What's the problem?
thank you!

Hallo,
Hello Michael, don't worry about english.
Ok, thank you!
Which plant are you using now?
okok, i'll try to do like that! thank you
Viel Erfolg.
thank you!
Sure i'll do!
Never offer shrub-eating species only leaves, but always whole branches. This is the only way they can take their traditional seats under the leaves. In addition, the food is better kept fresh when the leaves are still on the branch.
And ALWAYS keep young caterpillars completely dark for at least 48 hours. This way they get to the food faster.
thank you!
