Why not flocciferus?

First of all, I don't think C. flocciferus is recorded from Rhodos. In Greece, it seems to be restricted to the mountainous areas on the mainland but I could be wrong. Secondly, the date is way too late. C. flocciferus usually flies until August to late September maximum. Morphologically, C. flocciferus has a fairly characteristic hair-tuft in the basal area of the forewing-underside which seems to be absent here and the underside especially those of the hindwing is usually a lot lighter in color (which can occur in C. alceae as well, but not the other way round).
