Hi
I received some chrysalis in the mail. Unfortunately, most did not survive. However 2 came out of the chrysalis in the mail and I helped them get out.
Is there anyway I can help them recover?

It may survive. Did it have any problems with them. Other than the ones that died. If not they should be fine
I don’t know,
It’s not looking good now. It can’t climb very well without falling.
I'm surprised any survived. The resilience of insects.
My experience with abnormal emergences caused by getting stuck in the exit hole of a cocoon ,or the inability
to shed the pupal casing is that the animal has used all it's energy up and always have shorter life spans.
There's not many options for a sick or weak insect. When they don't expand their wings in the natural way,
they never do, I've kept moths that didn't expand properly in the hopes I could at least get a pairing, I've never had
any luck with that. the animals die much sooner than normal,
Yes, that’s what happened in past times.
It’s too bad.
I have a few questions:
I hatched a few Vanessa Cardui yesterday but even though their wings have dried and they are feeding. They can’t really fly.
Also these are the Caligo pupae that “survived”. Do they look alive to you?
