It is a native papilio brevicauda male (from a larva collected in the wild) from Rivière-au-Tonnere on the northeast coast of the St-Lawrence of river in the Quebec Province

It does look like P. brevicauda but its tails are oddly long.

Hi All,
for your convenience 2 pictures of a female aberrant with the same origin as yours.
back to topic: the tails of your male are longer than usual. I would attribute this to intra species variation.

Hi, Acorn & Sheldon say, beside short tails, the forewing hind angle is more rounded in brevicaudata. (As it is in your specimen.) As you move east to NF, the Short-tailed becomes more orange (underside), as you can see on can clearly see in lepidoqc's pictures.
So, Deflateoctopus, you may have a picture of the underside?
