Where are you located in the US? Mine did very well on wild Brazilian Pepper here in central Florida. I can send you leaves ASAP if you need some.

I've got the same problem. Both actias isis and actias maenas won't eat. I offer them rose and eucalyptus gunnii. I'll try prunus lusitanica today.
They refuse to eat for 2 days now. -
Members of the sumac family would probably also work for both of those.

Thank you Michael and Frank for the suggestion . Insect design please do as I have learned - mist them at least 2 times a day. Like Robin told me this species may go for 2 maybe even 3 days before starting to eat. Just be patient. Mine are now starting to eat the Rose leaves . Some nibbling still visible on the Prunus lucitanica. Fingers crossed.

I have found that alternates are just that, alternates, what one person has success with will be unsuccessful for
another.
The eucalyptus is interesting, I have actias isis eating it, but they didn't take to right away, and I've had maenas start in
immediately using gunni.
Stephen Stones saturnidae food plant book can be helpful, but it doesn't list instances of incomplete development,
just acceptance.
Best of luck with your efforts, I know how disheartening it is to see hatchlings roam around looking for something to
their liking.
I've also read that trimming leaf edges can help, but I haven't had luck with that one. It might sound goofy, but as well as
eucyalyptus keeps, maybe you could have it sent to you. I think there are persons trying caterpillar ''food", I know Carolina Biological
sells food used for manduca sexta, and bombyx mori.
