Hi Michael, did you mean the same male with 2 or 3 females? Do you remember if eggs laid from the 2nd or 3rd female paired with the same male were fertile?
Hi all,
just for your information:
last summer I had one male of Attacus atlas pairing with three different females during three consecutive nights. I didn't plan it. It just happened.
All eggs of all three females were fertile even if the eggs were laid on the fourth and fifth day. This experience was new and very interesting for me.
Maybe it's similar with other species.
Karl
