Seems that males of Actias luna takes all what has female signs 
In last days I put one alone atlas female and Actias luna male into one cage and forgot for them for half day ..
Next morning I found them in copula. Copula lasted regular 23 hours.
I have now some eggs, and I am very interested what happens!
I think the eggs are unfertilized. Or not?
Of course I am thinking the same 
But It is only few days, I stil keep them ... for sure
But they are from very different genus.
You have created a new species named Attacus luna 
For me it will be Actias atlas 
How about Attactias lunatlas?
How ever it is interresting to see, if the eggs are really unfertilized. Maybe in this way one will notice that this species are closer related than anyone thought they are!?

And when they hatch are maybe the baby's steril so they dont get baby's.
But is very special. These too come from they same area?
It could that this in the nature happends before.
