sieht für mich aus wie Mädesüß, Filipendula ulmaria, Fam. Rosaceae ( so die Blattform) kann mich aber auch täuschen

A lady has it as a hedge it is cut down to ground level every autumn would be a shrub,grows very quickly so would make a good foodplant and has given permission to use through the summer and take sucker if of use, thanks dean

Could you make a foto of the buds, from the underside of the leaves and from the bark?

In Central Europe I would say it´s a Rhus sp. maybe typhina.

But in England it´s possible it would be a completely different plant.

So we need more informations.
