Papilio demodocus/demoleus

Question:
If I search on the internet for these species, I find the names mixed and for me the pictures seem alike.
Is there a difference or is it just two names for the same butterfly?

Those are two different species.

Papilio demodocus in mainly found in Africa, demoleus in Asia. The underside of demodocus is much darker than demoleus, which has more yellow and some orange. Demodocus is usually also larger than demoleus.

Do you see the difference? The swallowtail in front is demoleus, the one at the back is demodocus.
