Actias luna question

did it has sex with a male?

Saturnid females often lay eggs without mating.

Usually 2-3 days after hatching.

Then they have stopped luring.

I have had this happen with Actias maenas, the females never called, and began laying on the first night.

Normally, unmated females wait until they are close to the end of their life, usually 5-7 days, but, it can

vary.

Luna remains coupled well into the next day, sometimes a person can miss pairings with other species,

Automeris mate quickly, as do a number of others.
