I ship here in the USA, and overseas, typically, with bare pupa, I use bathroom paper and roll it around each pupa

Or chrysalid and secure it with cellophane tape. It works 100% of the time, it is a little labor intensive, and one may

need to cut the paper to size in order to keep the shipping box a reasonable size.

The tissue wrapped pupa then go into a container which then goes into a box with other packing materials.

What you don't want to do is allow bare pupa to come into contact with cotton, or other fibrous material,

as it can become embedded in the abdominal segments, those materials are fine for general packing or cocoons.

a few years ago I posted a series of pictures here in the gallery showing how I pack pupae for shipping. The procedure has proven itself over many years with a very large number of pupae.
