Als ehrenamtliche Schmetterlings-AG aus Oldenburg suchen wir für unser Faltblatt ein Foto von Saturnia pavonia (männlicher oder weiblicher Falter). Kann uns jemand aus der Klemme helfen und uns ein Foto mailen, das wir für diesen Zweck verwenden können?

Es sollten sich nur diejenigen hier im Forum angesprochen fühlen, die eigene Fotos anbieten können und bereit sind, diese kostenlos zur Verfügung zu stellen (evtl. mit der Maßgabe, dass der Name des Fotografen bei dem Foto mit zu veröffentlichen ist.
Oder es weiß jemand, wo es lizenzfreie Fotos anderer Personen gibt und empfiehlt diese dann.
Das ungefragte/ungenehmigte Kopieren fremder Fotos ist nämlich nicht erlaubt, da dadurch die Urheberrechte des jeweiligen Fotografen verletzt werden!

ja schön das das angesprochen wird! Denn zu oft wird nur geraubt und gehofft, das es keiner merkt - was sicher auch fast immer der Fall ist! Ich kenne aber auch Vereine, denen das böse auf die Füße gefallen ist!

Please explain to me what's wrong about my previous post in this topic? Do you mean that on this forum it's allowed to sell insects for any price you like, but nature images may only be offered for free?

in this topic, i think, all is ok. But it is vorbidden by law to use photos from other people for professional or semi professional purposes, without getting an explizit permission to use them. If you exhibit a photo in the internet or on public flyers etc. you have to get a permission from the author and and least you have to sign the photo with the original publisher and his permission in the form "mit freundlicher Genehmigung" or something like this.
The artikels of Rigo and Renate explizit allow the use of their photos for Carstens purposes. You have only present a link to a site, that have photos of Saturnia pavonia that is also correct. The permission to use the photos from this site, carsten must get from the administrator or owner from this site!Robert will post all circumstances and rules for publishing photos in this forum and in the internet.

I posted a link to the website of a photo agency, on which you'll find some of my own images of Saturnia pavonia.

Deine beiden Bilder sehen ja super aus! Aber kann es sein, dass das S. pavonia ligurica ist - die südliche Unterart? Ich brauche jedenfalls ein Bild der in Norddeutschland vorkommenden S. pavonia pavonia.
@ alle: Da hab ich ja eine Diskussion ausgelöst! Aber nun ist das ja auch geklärt. Ich möchte wie gesagt kein Bild einfach ungefragt verwenden und werde natürlich auf den Urheber des Bildes hinweisen. Gebt euch vielleicht noch mal einen Ruck: Wir machen unsere AG rein ehrenamtlich und bräuchten noch ein Foto des Kleinen Nachtpfauenauges (nördliche Unterart) - am besten mit natürlichem Hintergrund!

Hallo Carsten,
ich hatte das Zuchtmaterial allerdings als normales hier in Mitteldeutschland vorkommendes pavonia bekommen! Aber da es nicht immer das einfachste ist für die Tiere zu unterscheiden und sicher auch Arten unbemerkt gekreuzt werden ..... wer weiß!
