Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
wieder ist ein turbulentes Jahr vorbei.
Corona, Wirtschaftskrise, Strom- und Ölmangelkatastrophen, Krieg, Mord und Totschlag, durchgeknallte Klimaaktivisten und viele andere furchtbare Dinge, die uns 2022 schwer gemacht haben und es noch immer tun.
Trotz allem, gibt es da einen kleinen erlesenen unbeugsamen Kreis von Naturinteressierten, die in ihrem wunderbaren Hobby der Entomologie, sich nicht beirren lassen und versuchen die Welt durch ihren Einsatz mit viel Liebe und entgegen allen negativen Elementen auf der ganzen Welt, diese ein Stück schöner, besser und interessanter zu gestalten.
Dafür möchte ich mich bei Euch allen bedanken, denn dadurch wird auch mein persönliches Leben schöner, interessanter und für mich aus meiner Sicht besser.
Und in diesem Sinne - bleibt bitte alle so wie Ihr seid - verschroben, verrückt, neugierig und aktiv. Aber bleibt vor allem Gesund!
Auch möchte ich mich ganz herzlich bei unserem "neuen" Actias-Team, allen voran meinem lieben Freund Toni für das Engagement und das Verhindern, das diese Plattform gestorben ist, bedanken.
Bei Dennis für die tolle Idee mit dem Thread "Ausgestorben", was viel Arbeit und Zeitaufwand, sowie großes Interesse an der Sache an sich bedeutet.
Bei Finn für sein Engagement, dass wir tolle Bilder zu sehen bekommen und natürlich bei allen nicht genannten "Machern" von Actias, die durch viel Zeiteinsatz und Arbeit hier alles aufrecht halten.
Nicht zuletzt nochmal auch ganz herzlich bei Eric, ohne den es das Ganze hier gar nicht geben würde.
Und natürlich nicht zu vergessen: All meinen Tausch- und Geschäftspartnern, die wie jedes Jahr tolle Tiere angeboten haben und für einen meist reibungslosen Versand sorgten.
Und nun, lasst Euch morgen alle schön bescheren, genießt die "ruhige" Zeit und die Gans im Ofen. Schenkt Euren Lieben Aufmerksamkeit und Liebe und rutscht mir beim Übertritt nach 2023 nicht aus.

Dear colleagues,
Another turbulent year is over.
Corona, economic crisis, power and oil shortage catastrophes, war, murder and manslaughter, crazy climate activists and many other terrible things that made 2022 difficult for us and still do.
Despite everything, there is a small, select, indomitable circle of people interested in nature who, in their wonderful hobby of entomology, do not let themselves be deterred and try to make the world a little more beautiful through their commitment with a lot of love and against all negative elements around the world , to make it better and more interesting.
I would like to thank you all for this, because it makes my personal life more beautiful, more interesting and better for me from my point of view.
And with this in mind - please stay the way you are - cranky, crazy, curious and active. But above all, stay healthy!
I would also like to thank our "new" Actias team, especially my dear friend Toni for their commitment and for preventing this platform from dying.
Dennis for the great idea with the "Extinct" thread, which means a lot of work and time, as well as great interest in the matter itself.
Thanks to Finn for his commitment, that we get to see great pictures and of course to all the unnamed "doers" from Actias, who keep everything going through a lot of time and work.
Last but not least, a warm welcome to Eric, without whom the whole thing would not exist here.
And of course not to forget: All my barter and business partners, who, like every year, offered great animals and ensured that the shipping went mostly smoothly.
And now, let yourself be given a nice present tomorrow, enjoy the "quiet" time and the goose in the oven. Give your loved ones attention and love and don't slip up on my transition to 2023.
